The thermal insulating board Peripor is a product of intense research of BASF and constitutes a new innovative material of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). Its colour is pink and it offers significantly lower water absorption in comparison to conventional thermal insulating materials. Peripor is certified shape moulded Expanded Polystyrene with flame retardant, low water absorption and high density.
It is produced in accordance with the principles of the standard EN 13163:2001, it is accompanied by certificates for its production according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard and by CE marking. Because of its high resistance in compression (250kpa in the 10% of deformity) and its practically zero water absorption, it can be used in applications of thermal insulation and waterproofing up to a depth of 6 meters.
