Certified Cut White Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Boards With Flame Retardant

The THP line of the ISOPOR product group is Expanded Polystyrene that was created especially for ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems). All products of this line, like all EPS products for building applications, have flame retardants, are produced from blocks matured in our warehouse for 28 days so as to achieve maximum dimensional stability under any temperature conditions, are cut with the tighter dimensional tolerances in the 3 dimensions, in squareness and flatness and are checked constantly for their resistance in tensile strength perpendicular to faces and bending in the production floor and in the company laboratory. The basic products from EPS which are intended for exterior heat insulation are certified according to the main EPS norm EN 13163 and also according to the requirements of the norms EN 13499 and ETAG 004, which are specifically for ETICS applications, by the German certification organisation GSH. All the ISOPOR THP product types have been tested by most companies distributing ETICS systems in the Greek Market and passed the most demanding testing procedures successfully. The ETICS application is one of the best solutions for heat insulation in a building, especially in the existing stock, since it is one of the few solutions that can be used while the building is still in use. ETICS systems with EPS are used in 9 out of 10 cases of ETICS systems in general, according to the European Association for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems EAE.
